WCBF junior sides dominate national championships

Western Cape Baseball Federation (WCBF) boys’ under-12A, under-15A and under-18A swept the boards at last month’s national championships, held at Mandela Bay, in the Eastern Cape, winning gold in their respective divisions. Silver medals were awarded to WCBF under-12B, and under-18 boys’ sides. This year, girls’ baseball was introduced for the first time with WCBF’s Women in Baseball (WIB) under-15 side walking away with silver.
