Hout Bay Barcelona FC recently hosted the second annual Siseko “Mr Marvelous” Mpokela Remembrance under-14 Tournament, at the Hout Bay sports complex. Eight teams took part in the tournament held in honour of former HB Barcelona FC player Siseko Mpokela, who died in 2022 in a drowning incident at Hout Bay Beach. The tournament was won by Jongiwe United who beat Barcelona 2-0 in the final. Pictured are some of the tournament’s big winners.

Jongiwe United’s Litha Mpholekana was named goalkeeper of the tournament.

Jongiwe United’s Lwandle Tshofuti was named the tournament’s top goal scorer.

Jongiwe United’s Thitha Mboniswa sheds a few tears after he was named the tournament’ most disciplined player.
