As the basketball season approaches, the Hout Bay Hurricanes are gearing up with a promising young team eager to challenge some of the top contenders in the city.

However, their recent performance at the Kasi Invitational Games saw them fall short, as they were defeated 60-43 in the quarter-finals by a more experienced side in Gugulethu Hustlers on March 23.

Despite the loss, the Hurricanes' strong team spirit and determination showcased by their youthful squad make them a team to watch in the upcoming season.
