Llandudno Primary School recently hosted two school concerts, bringing the community together to enjoy performances by its pupils.

Principal Alexander Molteno said the events showed the pupils’ effort and highlighted the school’s focus on developing talents through the arts.

The first concert, the Junior Music Concert, took place on Youth Day,  Monday, June 16, and featured several performances from Grade 1 to Grade 3 pupils.

Parents, teachers, and fellow students gathered to cheer on the young performers as they took centre stage, proudly sharing their musical journeys," Mr Molteno said.

Building on this success, Llandudno Primary School hosted the Lunchtime Music Concert on Monday, June 23, showcasing the talents of senior primary musicians.

Mr Molteno said the concert presented an eclectic mix of genres, including rock, classical, and pop, offering something for every musical taste.

"Senior learners displayed their skills on various instruments, including drums, piano, marimbas, and ukuleles, as well as taking the spotlight as vocalists. This concert not only impressed the audience but also served as a testament to the thriving music culture nurtured within the school," he said.

"These events exemplify Llandudno Primary's philosophy of fostering creativity and artistic expression, providing its learners the opportunity to shine and explore their passions," Mr Molteno said.
