Daniel Strauss launched his latest book, The Billionaire Career, at V&A Exclusive Books on Tuesday May 23.
Born in Keimoes, a rugby ball throw from Upington, venture capital entrepreneur, international speaker and family man, he is also the author of The Billionaire Mindset.
The Billionaire Career is a series of stories that explain concepts as Dan makes changes after deciding that he wants more from his job and his life. He yearns to start his own business and wants the freedom and control that being his own boss would give. But he has next to no money. Everything changes one day when he is faced with a choice at work.
The Paarl author is the Strauss in the investment holding company Stocks & Strauss, which invests in small- and medium-sized enterprises with the aim of growing them into larger businesses at a rapid speed.
At the launch, he and wife, Rolene Strauss, who won the Miss South Africa and Miss World titles in 2014 and is the author of Reflections from the Heart, said they had decided to stay in South Africa and had made a pact not to complain about the country but to be part of the solution.
