As the school holidays came to an end, several pupils returned to life behind a desk - some for the very first time.
Llandudno Primary School was a buzz of excitement last week when new and old pupils returned to start the 2026 school year.
Kwanda Cele and Kwakhanya Kotswana, both in Grade 2, were happy to get work started in their new class.
