Christmas cheer spreads around Hout Bay

More than 80 Hout Bay residents were treated to a Christmas party filled with singing, dancing and eating.

The Hout Bay Lions Club president, Liz Huckle, said guests were members of the Hangberg Seniors Club and Bethesda, who assist many of the residents in the community living with disabilities.

"It was a delight to see faces light up as our guests entered the beautifully decorated hall and then settled down to enjoy song, music, dance, and carol singing, followed by a delicious lunch, Christmas crackers were pulled, and goody bags filled to the brim with an assortment of gifts were dished out," Ms Huckle said.
