Dance students from around Hout Bay took to the Artscape stage at the weekend with one thing in mind: "Save Amoyo!"

The struggling performing arts centre hosted a fund-raising show to help keep their doors open and most importantly, keep the rhythm flowing.

Last week, director of the Amoyo Performing Arts Foundation, Kim Conley, spoke of the challenges the centre faced ("Amoyo battles to keep their doors open", Sentinel News, March 28).

The performers get a standing ovation for their performance at the Artscape.
