The Imizamo Yethu Learning Hub that runs after-school programmes for children in the community, has a new garden with a fynbos area, jungle gyms and places to grow vegetables, and the organisation is now looking for volunteers who are prepared to spend time reading to the children, teaching them gardening or simply playing with them, says Sara Clarke.
