The Domestic Animal Rescue Group (Darg) is asking the public to donate fleece blankets to keep its dogs and cats warm this winter. The animal shelter launched the blanket drive earlier this month, says spokesperson Kelly-Paige Howell. “People can purchase blankets to donate from our online shop and buy good quality second-hand books while they’re there to help raise funds for the animals in need.
