Author Gail Gilbride, formerly of Hout Bay, launched her latest book, Cat Therapy, at Exclusive Books Cavendish on Wednesday March 15. Now living in Hemel en Aarde valley with a cat, Archie, the feline hero of the book, and a dog, Zina, she spent the pandemic surviving a diagnosis of breast cancer and produced this unplanned memoir about confronting and overcoming a cancer diagnosis.
