Now in its eighth year, the La Muse Classic is the only longboarding contest of its scale in Africa run by women, for women. Entirely community-based and ocean-conscious, this groundbreaking event champions inclusivity and sustainability while celebrating the grace and strength of women in surfing.

This year, our lineup includes competitors ranging in age from 10 years old to 75 years young — a true celebration of lifelong stoke and sisterhood. The line-up also included development surfers from 9 Miles Project, Pop Surf, and a dedicated para-surf division supported by the Roxy Surf Foundation.
