The Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy (LAMTA) will stage Michael Frayn’s classic farce Noises Off at Theatre on the Bay from Wednesday, August 27 to Saturday, September 14.
Directed by multi-award-winning Chris Weare, the play-within-a-play takes viewers behind the scenes of Nothing On, a hapless bedroom comedy plagued by chaos - from vanishing sardines to slamming doors, backstage drama and collapsing romance.
LAMTA artist Aidan Scott stars as Lloyd alongside Natalie Robbie as Dotty in a three-act rollercoaster - from final dress rehearsal, to backstage meltdown, to a total onstage collapse.
Set and lighting design is by Kieran McGregor, with costumes by Frankie van Straten.
Tickets cost from R180 at Webtickets or at box office at 021 438 3300.
